Allergen Information _ Nail Reset Care
🚨 Allergen Information
We want you to feel confident wearing our nails — and that means being upfront about what’s in the box. Here’s what you need to know:
💧 Glue (the tube kind)
Used for longer wear, this glue contains:
-
Acrylate polymer
-
Methacrylate
-
Ethyl Cyanoacrylate (ECA) — the same ingredient found in lash glue and salon nail glue
⚠️ These can be strong irritants or allergens, especially if you’ve had reactions to acrylic nails or lash adhesives in the past. Always patch test first and discontinue use if you experience redness, itching, or irritation.
🟡 Jelly Gel Tabs (the peel-and-stick kind)
Gentler than glue, but still adhesive-based:
-
Hydroquinone
-
Polymethyl Methacrylate (PMMA)
⚠️ These tabs are easier on the nails, but can still be drying over time. If you have sensitive skin or allergies to common nail products, go slow and monitor how your nails feel.
💅 Naila = The Fake Nail
That pretty piece sitting on your finger is made from:
-
100% ABS Plastic — commonly used in press-ons, durable and lightweight
⚠️ No known allergens here for most people, but if you’re extremely sensitive to plastics or have dermatological concerns, it’s worth checking with a specialist.
Nail Reset Care Plan
Real nails deserve love too.
You love your press-on's — same. But like skin needs a break from makeup, your natural nails need time to breathe and bounce back. Here’s your no-stress, good-vibes-only guide to keeping your nails healthy underneath it all.
1. Rehydrate Like a Queen
Use a cuticle oil or just olive oil if that’s what’s in the kitchen. Rub it into your nails and cuticles twice a day during your rest days.
Bonus: Wear cotton gloves overnight with oil for a proper treatment.
Nails = nourished. You = moisturised Queen.
2. Schedule Your “Naked Nail” Days
Recommended reset: 2 full days every week
Wearing your sets 24/7? That’s cool, but let’s be honest — adhesives (even gentle ones) can dry your nails out over time. Give them space to recover with 48 hours au naturel.
Pro tip: Time it over the weekend. Spa energy. Socks on. Chill mode.
3. When you feel like buffing-Gently Buff, Don’t Battle
No need to file like you're sanding furniture. A light buff to smooth the surface is enough. Avoid picking or peeling — that’s how damage sneaks in.
4. Watch Out for Red Flags 🛑
If your nails feel:
-
Thin
-
Bendy
-
Sensitive
...that’s your cue to extend your reset. Give it 3–5 days before applying your next set.
5. Strengthen from Within
Hydration isn’t just surface-level.
Drink water. Eat foods rich in biotin (think almonds, eggs, avocado).
Your nails will thank you.
The Bottom Line
Press-ons are here to enhance, not replace, your natural nails.
Treat them well and they’ll hold every design like art.
Reset. Hydrate. Repeat.
